CCA 50 Overs Leauge 2006/07

Game No 1 - CCA league 2006/7

It is a great start for the CCA 50 Over League 2006/7. Unfortunately there is only six team taking part as per last year but there is a one change only. As Malindi Sports Club can not raise a team due to unavoidable circumferences but as same time MSC as re introduce a second team compiling a youngster. Good work MSC.As a start of a league MSC A played against MSC B at Mombasa Sports Club GroundPlaying first MSC A Scored a 191 All out with contribution from Zaher Abbas – 45. Amit – 27 and Latif – 25 and Jay – 23 from MSC B Taha took 3 Wickets and Priten and Yuvraj took 2 Wicket Each. MSC B who compile with a youngster only manage to scored 86 runs All Out with Himunshu being Highest Scorer of 18. For MSC A Zaheer Abbas took 4 Wicket with a helping hand from Jai & Amit who took 2 Wicket Each.

Result :- MSC A won the game by 105 Runs.

Game No 2 – CCA League 2006/07

2 game of CCA League Played between Coast Gymkhana V/S Mombasa Sports Club ‘A’ at Coast Gymkhana Ground on 27th Aug’2006. MSC A won the toss and decided to put CG to bat first. Batting first CG only manage to score 188 runs in 49 Overs All-out. From CG Only four Batsmen manage to score above 10, Moh’d Sawjani – 23, Sandip Shah – 21, Kamal Gohil – 26 and Pradip Patel – 53 from MSC A Amit Bij took 5 Wicket and Neal, Mohit, Nikhil and Himanshu manage to get 1 each.Batting second MSC A has very slow start as MSC A was 3 wickets down at 43 only but Captain Nikhil Rathod played a superb innings of 70. Moh’d Harazi contributed 30 run with Nikhil to Put MSC A in strong position. From CG side Irfan took 3 wickets, Stewart and Paresh took 2 wickets each and Pradip took 1 wicket

Result: - MSC A won the game by 2 Wickets

Game No 3 – CCA League 2006/07

3 game of league Played between Mombasa Sports Club ‘A’ V/S Shree Cutchi Lewa Sports Club at Mombasa Sports Club Ground on 3rd Sept’2006. MSC A won the toss and decided to put SCLSC to bat first. Batting first SCLSC only manage to score 72 runs All-out. Replying a small score MSC A send Mohit & Amit to open the Innings but amit only manage 5 runs when Mohit scored 24 with a support of Moh’d Harazi’s 37 runs. MSC A manage to score 73 runs in only 16 Overs.

Result: - MSC A won the game by 5 Wickets

Game No 4 – CCA League 2006/07

4th game of league Played between Mombasa Simba Union V/S Mombasa Sports Club B at Coast Gymkhana Ground on 3rd Sept’2006. MSC B won the toss and decided to put Simba Union to bat first. Batting first Smiba scored 5/225 in 50 Overs from Simba top scorer was Zuher – 46, Abbas – 24, Satpal – 29 and alim 49* & from MSC B Priten took 2 wickets and Salim, Taha, Arjun and Himanshu took 1 wicket each
Batting Second MSC B only mange to score 67 and only 1 batsman ( Himanshu) manage to reach in double. From Simba Kaka took 3 Wicket and Abbas and Issak got 2 Wickets Each

Result: - Simba Union won the game by 158 Runs.

Game No 5 – CCA League 2006/07

5th game of league Played between Coast Gymkhana V/S Shree Cutchi Lewa Sports Club at Coast Gymkhana Ground on 10th Sept’2006. CG won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first CG manage to get only 136 runs in 39.3 overs allout.top scorer was Moh’d Swajani – 32, Sanjay – 26 and Stewart & Pradeep 20 Each. From SCLPS Paresh took 4 Wicket and Chetan took 3 Wicket Reply to this small score CG bowler shown their skill and demolish SCLPS at only 43 Runs Allout. There was one big achievement from Harish Pindoria (Coast Gymkhana ) took a Hat-trick and manage to get Total 8 Wicket ( 7.3 over-2 maiden-16 runs -8 wicket) in support of Harish, Vinod took 2 wicket.

Result: - Coast Gymkhana won the game by 93 Runs.

Game No 6 – CCA League 2006/07

6th game of league Played between Mombasa Sports Club A V/S Mombasa Simba Union at MSC Ground on 10th Sept’2006. MSC A won the toss and decided to put Simba Union to bat first. Batting first Smiba scored 9/180 in 50 Overs from Simba top scorer was Zuher – 36, Abbas – 25, Maysam – 45 and Kaka 21* & from MSC A Jai took 3 wickets and Zaheer Abbas and Amit bij took 2 wicket each
Batting Second MSC A lost 1 eary wicket of Amit but Opener Latif and Jai brillent played the innings and put MSC A in Strong position. From MSC A Latif manage to score a 104, Jai score 35 runs and Mohit 20*. From Simba Zuher took 2 Wicket and Ramzan got 1 Wickets.

Result: - Mombasa Sports Club A won the game by 7 Wickets.

Game No 7 – CCA League 006/07

7th Game played between Mombasa Sports Club B v/s Coast Gymkhana at Mombasa Sports Club ground on 8th October’06. MSC B won the toss and selected to bat first. MSC B’s young team captain by Mr. Sanjay kotecha only manage to score 66 runs in 18 overs and replying to that CG batsman dominate on MSC B Bowler and score a require runs in only 10 overs. From MSC B only one batsman manage to score in double ( Kyle – 25) and from CG Stewart took 4 wicket and Harish, Vinod and raj bagged 2 each. CG batsman Stwart, harish and Raj finished the innings as Stawert 32* and Raj 8*
Result :- Coast Gymkhana won by 9 wickets

Game No 8 – CCA League 2006/07

8th game of league Played between Shree Cutchi Lewa Sports Club V/S Mombasa Simba Union at Coast Gymkhana Ground on 17th Sept’2006. SCLSC won the toss and decided to put Simba Union to bat first. Batting first Smiba only manage to score 10/132 in 33 Overs from Simba top scorer was Abbas – 25 and Satpal 32* & for SCLSC Dinesh took 5 wickets, Bipin 2, And Uttam and Paresh took 1 each.
Batting Second SCLSC lost 2 early wickets and then Suresh try to recover but got out at score of 24, For Simba Ramzan took 4 Wicket and alim and Satpal took 2 Each.

Result: - Simba Union won the game by 13 Runs.

Game No 9 – CCA League 2006/07

9th game of league Played between Coast Gymkhana V/S Mombasa Simba Union at Coast Gymkhana Ground on 24th Sept’2006.
Winning toss Simba decided to bat first but they failed against the CG fast attack and all out at only 139 runs on Board. Replying to that CG Batsman manage to score 142/3 in 32 overs.

Result :- Coast Gymkhana Win By 7 Wickets

Game No 10 – CCA League 2006/07

10th game of league was between Mombasa Sports Club B V/S Shree Cutchi Lewa Sports Club at Mombasa Sports Club Ground on 24th Sept’2006.
It was unfortunate that MSC B Side didn’t turn up for the game after awaiting up to official time match awarded to SCLPS

Game No 11– CCA League 2006/07

11th Game of the League played between Coast Gymkhana V/S Mombasa Sports Club B at Coast Gymkhana on 29th October’06.
Winning Toss CG decided to bat first. Batting first CG Batsman overruled the MSC B Side and score 274/5. From CG main contributor was Sanjay – 94 ret, Harshil – 56, Harish – 35 & Paresh 27. while from MSC B Vishal took 2 wicket and Kyle and vinit took 1 each.
Replying this big score MSC B only manage to score 60 runs. Raj took 4 wickets which include a hat-trick and Harish and rajiv took 3 wicket each.

Result :- Coast Gymkhana Win By 215 Runs

Game No 12 – CCA League 2006/07

12th Game of League played between Burhani Sports Club and Mombasa Sports Club A at Burhani Sports Club Ground on 29th October’06
Winning toss Burhani decided to bat first but due to lack of practice and playing with only 10 players BSC all out at only 74 runs on board from MSC A Amit Bij took 4 Wickets, Gopi 3 wickets and Zaheer took 2.
Batting second MSC A reach the target in 13th Over after lost 2 wickets of Latif and Bij.

Result :- MSC A Won By 8 Wickets

Game No 13 – CCA League 2006/07
13th Game of League played between Shree Cutchi Lewa Sports Club V/S Mombasa Sports Club A at Coast Gymkhana Ground on 5th November’06.
Winning the toss and playing with only 9 players SCLPS batted first and all out at only 25 runs. From MSC A Zaheer Abbas took 5 wickets and Thabith took 3 wickets. Batting second MSC A manage to score 26 runs within a 6.3 Overs after loosing a 2 wickets.


Result :- MSC A Won By 8 Wickets

14th Game of the League Played between Burhani Sports Club v/s Coast Gymkhana at Burhani Sports Club Ground on 5th November’06.
Winning toss BSC decided to bat first but all out at only 69 runs Taha made 25 and from CG Irfan took 6 Wickets and Harish and Pradeep took 2 wickets each.
Batting Second CG manage to score 72 within a 8 Overs with excellent batting from Stewart and M. Sawajani.

Result :- Coast Gymkhana won by 10 Wickets

Game 16 – CCA league 2006/07

16th Game of League is between Mombasa Sports Club B and Simba Union which was postponed due to international fixture of Kenya and now will be played on 11th Feb’07

Game 17 – CCA League 2006/07

17th Game of League played between Simba Union v/s Coast Gymkhana at Coast Gymkhana ground on 19th Nov’06.
Winning toss CG decided to Bat first. Batting first CG score 250/10 major contributor in it was Stewart 100, M Sawjani 39 and Irfan 36 from Simba Abbasi took 3 wickets , Abbas and kake took 2 each and Zuheer and satpal took 1 each
Batting second Simba only manage to score 98/10 only 1 batsman Abbasi 46*, from CG irfan took 4 wickets , Vinod , Purshottam and stewart took 2 wickets each.


Result :- Coast Gymkhana won by 152 runs

Game 18 – CCA League 2006/07

18th Game of League played between Burhani Sports Club v/s Simba Union at Burhani Sports club ground on 26th Nov’06.
Winning toss Simba decided to Bat first. Batting first Simba score 286/8
Batting second BSC only manage to score 135/10

Result :- Simba won by 151 runs

18th Game of League played between Shree Cutchi Lewa Sports Club v/s Coast Gymkhana at Coast Gymkhana ground on 26th Nov’06.
Winning toss CG decided to Bat first. Batting first CG score 201/10
Batting second SCLPS only manage to score 125/10

Result :- Coast Gymkhan won by 76 runs
